A study for diabetes improving effect by pharmacopuncture

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : Pharmacopuncture, one of the clinical methods, is useful therapy for diabetes. In this study, we reviewed previous studies about the effect of pharmacopuncture on diabetes.
Methods : We searched several articles using key words of ‘pharmacopuncture’, ‘diabetes’ in RISS, NDSL, DBPIA and KISS then reviewed.
Result : A total of 14 studies were reviewed. To evaluate diabetes improvement effect, various experiment animal models were used. Also, pharmacopuncture of red ginseng, Acanthopanax senticosus, Cinnamomum Cassia had the significant effects on diabetes.
Conclusion : Pharmacopuncture may be have improvement effect on diabetes.
